Kirkwood School District Foundation

Thank you in advance for your support and commitment to supporting Kirkwood Kids and public education in the Kirkwood community! Your donation to KSDF benefits staff & students and determines the giving power of our Foundation. Your gifts to KSDF made it possible to "Say Yes!" to the following over the last year:
•Grants to Schools: In 2023, KSDF awarded $5,000 in grants to each of our five elementary schools, two middle schools, and Kirkwood Early Childhood Center.
•Bestowing More Named Awards: In April 2024, KSDF presented over $100,000 in Named Award Scholarships to 37 KHS Seniors. 
•Celebrating Diversity & Supporting Inclusion: In September 2023, KSDF sponsored Unified Night Lights. We purchased the pre-game meal with KSDF sponsor Mike Duffy's and gave take-home uniform shirts, purchased with donor grants, to all participants. 
•Enrichment Grants: During the 2023-2024 School year, we gave over $10,000 to KSD staff and school-sponsored groups through our Enrichment Grants program.  These grants helped with classroom supplies, field trips, and more!
• Growing Our Legacy Fund for the Walker Natatorium: Funded by a grant from the Walker Foundation and completed in 2015, The Walker Natatorium is the first competitive pool on the campus of KHS. For the first time in school history, students can learn to swim as part of the physical education curriculum, and Pioneer swim & dive and water polo teams have a home for practices and competitions. Our pool also hosts Special Olympics Athletes and has helped train hundreds of area lifeguards. Your support helps protect this facility for generations to come through The Legacy Fund.
