Kearney Competitive Girls Fastpitch Softball Assn

The Kearney Competitive Girls Softball Association (KCGSA) is comprised of 15 teams ranging in age from 8U through 18U.  Our individual member list is over 160 players from the Kearney area for the 2014 season. 

KCGSA teams participate in league games and tournaments throughout the state of Nebraska, Kansas, Iowa and Colorado with the season beginning in April and continuing through October. 

Our mission is to teach skills, techniques, responsibility and sportmanship and instill self-confidence in our players so they can compete at a competitive level. 

To compete at a competitive level takes practice, year-round practice.  Therefore, the need for an indoor facility for our players to use during the winter months is a necessity.  This indoor facility will enable our players to have access to pitching, batting and fielding during the off season and when inclement spring and summer weather arises.  The more hands on our players can get, the more competitive they will be. 

With the support of the Kearney area community, our goal is to have an indoor facility available to our players by October 2014.
