Keep Phoenix Beautiful

Keep Phoenix Beautiful is an affiliate of Keep America Beautiful and a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. We've been serving our valley community for nearly 40 years, and we work to make Phoenix a clean, green, vibrant place to live. With the help of thousands of volunteers and financial support from donations like yours, we make a difference with four major programs:

Community Engagement
Volunteers are the heart and soul of Keep Phoenix Beautiful! From planting trees to picking up trash, we could not do it without the outstanding hard workers who generously give their time, talent and expertise. KPB has wonderfully diverse volunteer projects that fit a variety of interests. Environment enthusiasts help with outdoor cleanup/beautification, work in community gardens and urban farms, serve as special event recycling ambassadors and it’s all in the name of promoting the KPB mission of environmental stewardship!

Recycling
Our annual recycling events have encouraged residents to recycle properly and more often. As recycling experts, we can also help with recycling at your event! Our efforts have benefited residents and have contributed to Phoenix’s goal of increasing the city’s waste diversion rate to 40% by 2020.

Community Gardens
Our community gardens have flourished with the help of hardworking gardeners and volunteers. Our team is dedicated to helping gardeners at any skill level achieve garden greatness! Our goal is to engage and teach community members about greener practices in the garden and everywhere else!

Education
We are proud to provide green education to thousands of residents each year! Our education department has created a variety of green presentations that cover everything from basic recycling to water conservation, from litter reduction, to gardening! Our team can go beyond the traditional classroom and is able to visit your scout troop, senior center, or even your workplace.
