Kenneth Shepard Ministries found its humble beginning in churches and communities throughout the greater St.Louis... Kenneth Shepard began teaching and ministering in 1977...  He began advocating for the homeless in 1983... The ministries was founded in 1998...

Currently He is ministering to an African Community of Refugees from war torn African countries... The Ministries Community Outreach  Program known as "African Refugee Relief Society" offers; *resettlement assistance *cultural adjustment and intergration *connecting to community resources *community building *home maintenance *teen emlpoyment *job skill training *computer literacy *reading club  *tutoring (ESL) *student personal benefits *youth community garden *heaith and recreation *youth soccer-other sports support system *bike club-repair shop *social and life skills *peer leadership-mentoring-rolemodeling *arts and crafts *performing arts *families back home aid *befriend a family *furnisher-clothing-bikes-toys-Bank *Pastor support/building fund  *Television Show "Positive Youth Affair"

The ministries is also engaging into ways to help the homeless especial when they may be at risk of danger, starvation, or danger... We also seek to help youth that may be homeless or living in dangerous situations just to have a place to sleep...
