Kentucky Commission on Women Foundation Incorporated

The Kentucky Commission on Women Foundation, Inc. was created to assist in sponsoring, funding and supporting the programs, projects, and activities of the Kentucky Commission on Women (KCW). The KCW is dedicated to elevating the status of women and girls in the Commonwealth, empowering them to overcome barriers to equity, and expanding opportunities to achieve their fullest potential.    

Attempting to level the playing field for women, in terms of health and well-being, education, economic sufficiency, and political participation takes collaboration, long-term strategies, and financial resources.  In this slow-moving economy, now more than ever, the Commission on Women relies heavily on Foundation funding to support its mission.
