As Kentucky's largest animal adoption agency, the Kentucky Humane Society is Louisville's favorite place to adopt a pet! Your donations help us provide food, medical care and love to thousands of needy dogs, cats and horses - and then we find them wonderful adopters.

Not only are we here for needy animals, we're also here for the families who love them. Thanks to your support, each year we provide:

• Almost 6,000 animal adoptions to excited families 
• 10,000 low-cost spay/neuter surgeries our S.N.I.P. Clinic, helping reduce pet overpopulation
• Counseling and support to over 13,000 stressed pet owners through our Pet Resource Services
• Low-cost basic veterinary care for families that lack access to affordable veterinary care through our CARE-a-van mobile veterinary clinic
• Fun, effective and positive dog training classes
• Equine Assisted Learning for veterans, businesses and support groups
