Kenya Community Health Ministries

Ciothirai Methodist Church in Kenya has been serving the local community for 55 years since 1960. In order for members of the community to access public health services, they have to walk 8-10 miles from their homes. This is not feasible for many due to the long distance, that creating a barrier to access health care services.

The local church and residents of Upland, Rancho Cucamonga, Alta Loma, and Inland Empire cities of San Bernadino and Riverside Counties have slowly raised the money to complete the foundation of the clinic, walls, and roof of a beautiful facility that will offer Medical, Laboratory, Pharmacy and Counseling services to the local community. The Kenya Community Health Clinic has brought healthcare services to their own village to provide needed healthcare services.

Now about $50,000.00 is needed to hire a small staff and purchase medical equipment and medical supplies. The goal is set to open the clinic in Januarry 2017.
