Keogh Health Connection

Keogh Health Connection enrolls people who survive on little income in healthcare, Food Stamps and cash assistance and connects them to other public and social service agencies for dealing with the barriers of affordable housing, employment and transportation. Over the past 12 years, Keogh’s bilingual staff have established a high level of trust with working-poor families, primarily in Latino Communities. 

The 2019 American Community Survey data on health insurance states in Arizona the rate of people without health insurance increased from 10.6% in 2018 to 11.3% in 2019. The number of uninsured kids under 19 is 161,000 in 2019 up from 146,000 the prior year. Many children living in low-income families qualify for publicly funded health insurance but are not enrolled.
