For over 50 years the KRVAA has played host to the annual Sierra Arts and Crafts Festival on Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend. Visitors from all over the world come to our events. Additionally, we raise money to provide grants for public art projects and art education. We host regular educational workshops. We opened the G3 Gallery in Kernville to provide a place for local artists to meet and showcase their work.

KRVAA has additional locations or "walls", around the valley where artists can show thier work such as: The Coffee Mill, Kern River Valley Chamber of Commerce, Sheriff's Sub Station, Kern Valley Museum, Farmers Insurance and the Starlite Lounge.

The "Outside In" Program teaches art to the developmentally disabled adults in Kern River Valley.

The CREATiVE Bus Shelter Project is about bringing history themed bus shelters to the valley. www.bus.krvaa.org

We are small group of people who really care bigtime about being creative and bringing that passion to the community. We believe that bringing more art into the schools is extremely important that is why we are forging parterships with local schools and creating fun and engaging events for students and their parents.
