Mariana was a teen parent dropping out of high school. Kidango enrolled her young child in preschool, with free tuition. With the peace of mind that Kidango was caring for, nurturing, and educating her child, Mariana returned to school herself—graduating on time, continuing to college, and ultimately becoming an attorney.

With Kidango, Mariana found hope and opportunity for her child.

Purvi’s son has special needs. Here is her story: “My son’s communication skills have improved greatly because of Kidango. I always felt that from the moment I dropped him off to the moment I picked him up that he was in good hands. He was well taken care of, his needs were being met, and he was growing and learning constantly, which was huge. As a parent, you want your child to grow, succeed, learn and start hitting those milestones. As a parent who has a child with special needs, every little milestone is huge. And when they start meeting those, your heart starts beating a little faster and you celebrate and get excited. You know this is happening because of all the support he is getting. It’s been fantastic for us. I recommend Kidango without any hesitation. Kidango has been great for us– for my family and for my child. I think parents should really explore what Kidango can do for them!”

Kidango’s commitment is to ensure all children have access to the best opportunities for growth, focused on education and health.

For over 35 years, Kidango's early childhood development centers have  educated hundreds of thousands of the Bay Area’s most at-risk children. We operate over 50 early learning and preschool centers, childhood mental health and special education programs, and a central kitchen that prepares over 5000 fresh, nutritious meals every day.

All Kidango child development centers provide a safe, structured and home-like setting that prepares children socially, emotionally and academically to succeed in school. Children in our preschools enhance their skills in reading, writing, science, math, creative arts and much more in a nurturing and stimulating environment.

The need for our services is increasing for many more children. Your gift will directly benefit children and families in the Bay Area. Any amount you give will help put a child on a path to success in school and a lifetime of opportunity.
