The magic of our program is simple.

We take one rescued dog and one disadvantaged child and bring them together with a purpose.   We teach at-risk teens how to train dogs, and through this process they gain important life and work skills.

While the dog is being trained they are heroes to their trainers, giving them the best therapy ever - the unconditional love of a dog. The dogs also provide tail wags and smiles to many more during their training as reading buddies and as visitors to schools and senior homes.

Children find acceptance and develop important life skills.

Staff and volunteers work with the kids in roles as teacher, mentor and friend. Together we give a child a chance to prove they can accomplish great things.

One dogs can have up to 60 trainers and interact with 350 children and adults in our outreach programs.

Your donation gives a child that chance for a better life.
