Kids College

The Kid’s College enriches the lives and expands the horizons of school age children by providing high quality enrichment classes and extended learning programs that are convenient, affordable and taught by professionals, typically at the child’s school.

We offer a wide variety of visual arts, performing arts, science, technology, engineering - (STEAM), languages, financial literacy, life skills and healthy living classes.

Kid’s College programs engage youth in creative activities that build artistic and academic skills, develop discipline, problem-solving skills and decision making, and a sense of achievement and personal worth. The Kid’s College is one of North County San Diego’s largest nonprofit enrichment providers.

Our Fortissimo Orchestra Program is the result of the passion, energy  and dedication of our Founder, Carole Beeson and her husband Bill. The Fortissimo Orchestra Music Program began January 2015 at Joli Ann Leichtag Elementary School. This program is modeled after the hugely successful and transformative program started over 35 years ago in Caracas, Venezuela, called El Sistema.  Learn more about El Sistema here: 60 Minutes El Sistema profile  The Fortissimo Orchestra Music Program is an after school program that began with 3rd grade students. These students received 4 hours of weekly intensive string music instruction.   The program is free for these students from low-income families. We      are currently serving 150 students.
