Kids' Turn San Diego

With a mission of “promoting, supporting and securing the well-being of children who are experiencing family separation”, Kids' Turn San Diego changes family relationships in positive ways so children have happier childhoods and brighter futures.   

Programs include: Family Workshops for Separated & Divorced Families, a co-parenting program for children and their parents; Cooperative Co-Parenting, a high conflict co-parenting program for parents; Counseling for Children; and Continue the Conversation Classes, Advanced Refresher Classes for Program Parent Graduates.  

Our programs help parents choose peace over power by helping them gain insight into their words, actions and behaviors and by teaching them new communication skills and strategies that reduce conflict and increase healthier parent-child and co-parenting relationships. Whether children attend our programs virtually or in-person, they immediately see they are not alone and quickly learn that their parents' behaviors and divorce are not their fault. They learn about feelings, what they are and how to share them. Kids' Turn San Diego exists to change family relationships in positive ways so children feel happy, heard and understood.
