Kimberly residents are dedicated to providing an excellent educational experience for the youth of the community.  Our schools touch not only our children but people of all ages and have an enormous effect on Kimberly's economic vitality.  The Kimberly School Foundation provides another avenue for the citizens of Kimberly and our alumni to continue to support our excellent schools.

In the past five years, through the generous support of community members and alumni, the Kimberly School Foundation has been able to provide 28 Kimberly graduates with scholarships to continue their education.  Scholarships have been awarded to current and former graduates working toward two-year, four-year or advanced degrees.

The Kimberly School Foundation has also provided financial support for students attending the National Debate Competition and the National Future Farmers Convention.

In addition, the Kimberly School Foundation has raised money to assist in providing a sign and refurbishing the L.A. Thomas Building used by the school and the community for both sports and the fine arts.

The members of the Board of Directors are community leaders and educators. The Board determines policies, provides leadership in fund raising and grant writing and ensures that gifts to the Foundation are safely invested and used in accordance with the donor's wishes.

The support of the community and alumni is very much appreciated.

Justin Novacek, a Kimberly School Foundation Scholarship recipient, had this to say as he looks forward to graduating from the University of Idaho this spring:

The scholarship I received from the Kimberly Foundation has helped me immensely over the past four years at the University of Idaho. I have had amazing experiences in my time in college and would not trade them for anything. One of my main goals after graduating from Kimberly High School in 2010 was to graduate college with no student debt. Scholarships like the Kimberly Foundation Scholarship have helped me achieve that goal four years later. I am excited for what the next chapter of my life brings as I say goodbye to the memories at the University of Idaho. I am proud to be a graduate of Kimberly High School and am so grateful that the Kimberly Foundation has been a part of my time at the University of Idaho.
