Kindering

OUR MISSION: Kindering embraces children of diverse abilities and their families by providing the finest education and therapies to nurture hope, courage, and the skills to soar.

Kindering supports children with developmental disabilities, delays, and risk factors throughout the Puget Sound area. We help children reach their developmental milestones, while also supporting the entire family on the unexpected journey of raising a child with special needs. Last year we reached 10,000 children and families through a comprehensive range of 20+ programs.

The goal of every Kindering program and service is to help children of all abilities reach their fullest potential. Our vision is that all children will be fully and equitably included in their homes, schools, and communities. We provide support, regardless of a family’s ability to pay for services. 

Early treatment of developmental difficulties makes a life-changing difference. The research is clear. As 85% of brain development occurs from birth to three, this is the crucial window for providing infants and toddlers with special needs the best chance for success. Kindering is a leader in early developmental support of children with special needs and for those at risk of falling behind their peers in development because of crisis.
