According to the USDA, 50% of small farms don’t survive beyond their first five years and, out of the survivors, only 25% make it to 15 years. That’s where we come in.

Kitchen Table Advisors supports farmers and ranchers who use regenerative agricultural practices, and are leaders for social and environmental change within the food system. We support Northern California producers to reach new milestones, from hiring their first employees to buying property and beyond. Complementary to this work, we also collaborate on larger Ecosystem Building projects focused on rebuilding a marketplace that is more favorable to sustainable, small farms and ranches, particularly in the core areas of land, markets and capital. We prioritize work with communities that have historically been excluded from resources and recognition within our food system — namely the BIPOC, women, low-income, immigrant, and LGBTQIA+ communities.
