Kitsap Children's Museum

Kitsap Children's Museum is an ongoing grassroots effort by members of the community to create an interactive environment for families and children. We believe that encouraging children to explore, learn, laugh, create, and challenge themselves will make them positive, involved members of our local community and caring global citizens.

The mission of KCM is to serve the needs and interests of children and families by providing exhibits and programs that stimulate curiosity and motivate learning. The vision of Kitsap Children’s Museum is to be an open, welcoming, and inclusive community for all families. Providing a thoughtful and creative space will enable children to explore through hands-on experiences, in order to make sense of their world.

Kitsap Children's Museum is on the move and growing!  

In the coming year, our focus project is to create a Mobile Museum with hands-on Investigation Exploration activities. In order to serve more families and children in Kitsap County we will be hosting several events at different elementary schools and local festivals.  While we work on our 5-year strategic plan and work on a permanent location for the museum "Let us bring the museum to you!"
