With more and more modern houses going up, the spread of technology, and hustle and bustle of our environment, our children don't know what life was like 100 years ago. Not only does the Klein, TX Historical Foundation preserve the ways of rural Texas, but we also transport visitors back into the story. The story of the first German immigrants leaving their country and embarking upon a new journey here in Texas. We fully immerse visitors by 1st person interpretation and hands on activities what life was like for these early settlers. With over 1000 original photographs, farm equipment, 4 orginal structures dating back to 1874 and the use of imagination we preserve the heritage of the Klein, Texas area.
