Korean American Cultural Center of San Antonio

The Korean American Cultural Center of San Antonio (KACCSA) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, established in December 2010 with the mission of enriching the community through cultural and educational programs. Rooted in the vision of serving the community with God’s love and enhancing the quality of life for all individuals, KACCSA is committed to making a positive impact in San Antonio.

Despite the growing interest in Korean culture across the United States, San Antonio's small Korean population has limited opportunities for local residents to immerse themselves in Korean traditions. Recognizing this gap, KACCSA has been actively promoting Korean culture by participating in prominent events such as the Asian festival and international dance festival held in San Antonio. Through these platforms, KACCSA showcases Korean food and dances, offering a glimpse into the rich tapestry of Korean heritage. Moreover, KACCSA's dedicated youth dance team volunteers regularly perform at senior centers, spreading joy and cultural appreciation among the elderly.

Furthermore, KACCSA fosters greater awareness of Korean culture through engaging events like the Korean video contest, K-pop dance competition, and Kimchi festival. Complementing these initiatives, KACCSA provides a diverse array of cultural classes, including immersive experiences such as film screenings, Korean cooking classes, and calligraphy workshops. Additionally, KACCSA offers online Korean language classes and hosts a Korean school on Saturdays, catering to the interests of both Korean American children and any child curious about the Korean language and culture.

In recent years, KACCSA has expanded its outreach efforts by organizing Korean culture summer camps for children. These camps offer a blend of fun and educational programs, nurturing a sense of global citizenship among participants. Through our ongoing fundraising campaign, KACCSA seeks to enhance the scope and impact of these summer camps, offering even more enriching experiences for children while further promoting Korean culture within the vibrant San Antonio community.
