We Serve Before We Roll

The Krewe of Nefertiti is a 501c3 nonprofit organization, founded in volunteer/community service focused on mentoring young women and assisting the youth in education, cultural awareness, and host of other necessary issues. Our mission statement is "We Serve Before We Roll". Our Family Day Parade rolls every year in the New Orleans East area. Although over half of the residents are homeowners and native New Orleanians, this area is considered the most underserved area in the city. The community is extremely grateful for the organization's family day parade because it sparks that sense of hope, community, and growth. We are proud to be responsible for bringing a Mardi Gras parade back to New Orleans East after over 30 years.
