Kristine Meza Foundation Corporation

Kristine Meza was ambushed in her driveway on her way to work by her estranged ex-boyfriend. Kristine was 25 years old at the time of her passing. She had just been accepted into the SAC nursing program. The oldest of four siblings, Kristine continually strived to do good and set an example for her younger sisters. Born and raised in Laredo by a single mother, Kristine encountered many struggles and obstacles while pursuing her dream, but nothing got in her way of accomplishing them. 

As a result of her passing, a group of individuals united to embark on a mission in hopes of making a difference for those who feel locked in silence. KMF was born September 2011. We host an annual 5K Run/Walk in order to raise more awareness on the issue and impact of domestic violence. KMF’s goal is also to generate enough funds to offer a scholarship to a student at the Alamo Colleges and to recruit as many supporters and provide resources that help victims of domestic violence.

This year, we plan on using Razoo.com to help us raise the funds for the Kristine Meza Scholarship. This will allow KMF to donate all of the money generated from the 5K Run/Walk to services that assist victims of domestic violence.
