LESA provides need-based tuition assistance to students and families of all faiths enrolled in member Lutheran schools. 

LESA is in it's 20th year!  To date, we have awarded more than $7.3 million in tuition assistance to families who choose a faith-based school, helping to make it an affordable educational choice.  These scholarships also help member schools become more sustainable. 

LESA also provides m resources to its member schools including faith-based curriculum development, STEM programming, professional development for both administrators and teacher, and marketing services designed to help our 34-member schools, faculty and students excel in all areas.

For Give STL Day, we are seeking support for our Youth Coding League efforts in Schools.  We currently have 6 schools competing in this nationally recognized organizations that helps students create and compete for points, prizes and recognition for Coding.  Cumulatively, in Spring 2024, the schools have spent 1800 hours on their YCL efforts!   You can learn more about the Youth Coding League here:  https://www.youthcodingleague.com/.   

We have a $6000 goal to support the schools and scholars!  Will you consider helping out students compete and create with Coding?

We  have some amazing teachers/coaches to support the students efforts, including Holy Cross's Andrea Bohnert being named Epic Educator!

The teams are 5-8th graders and are divided into 5/6 and 7/8.   LESA currently supports each team/school at $1000, and $1250 for two teams.   LESA's investment for 2023-24 has been a total of $9,000.  We'd love to expand our support and the number of schools participating!
