Lincoln School Foundation

A nonprofit organization

The Lincoln School Foundation serves Park County in an historic building with affordable office, studio and public space for nonprofits, artists and entrepreneurs that contribute to our vibrant community.

Constructed in 1914, The Lincoln School building has served as a center of education and civic engagement for generations of Livingston residents. It has witnessed many significant events in our local and national history: the Spanish influenza epidemic, the World Wars, and the Yellowstone National Park's 150th anniversary.

In its current role as an affordable office space, it hosts a variety of nonprofits, artists, entrepreneurs, health providers, and recreationalists who enrich the social and economic fabric of our community. The Lincoln School maintains 29 private affordable work spaces that support 6 local non-profit organizations and incubate 21 local businesses, nearly half of which are working artists. Our support for more than five additional local non-profits continues in our auditorium, which they may use for free for board meetings, performances, classes, fundraisers, and gatherings.

Testimonials

"We wholeheartedly support the proposed improvements outlined by the Lincoln School Foundation, recognizing their potential to enhance the building's functionality, energy efficiency, and long-term viability as a hub for commerce and creativity." - Rachael Jones, FSPC Executive Director

"As a tenant of the Lincoln School for over 30 years, PCEC is familiar with the conditions of the building and how those conditions affect our operations on a day to day level. In fact, PCEC often credits our ability to work in service to the local community to the fact that we had affordable office space in the Lincoln School throughout the years." - Max Hjortsberg, PCEC Managing Director
