Most La Sierra students come from Riverside and the surrounding area, most hold jobs to work for their education, and most still qualify for financial aid. Maybe you did, too.

Some students fall in the "GAP" where their families earn enough to be ineligible for the largest state and federal grants and loans, but not enough to pay out of pocket, so they need loans and scholarships to make up the difference. Maybe you did, too.

Through projects ranging from fighting human trafficking to providing conflict resolution training, volunteering in the Alvord School District, and researching a cure for leukemia, La Sierra students and employees contribute daily to the lives of people in the Greater Riverside community. Hundreds of local school teachers and principals, ministers, and businesspeople received their professional training in our School of Education, Divinity School, and Zapara School of Business.
