La Tech Chi Alpha Campus Ministry

We have had unfortunate events happen regarding our facilities.

February 2006 -- Louisiana Tech Chi Alpha owned a facility directly across the street from campus that caught fire and burned beyond repair.

June 2006 --  We moved to a temporary facility while in the process of trying to rebuild.  We were unable to receive a builders permit because the city was rezoning.

July 2008 -- We were delivered a notice by the state that our property was being expropriated and, because we had no structure on the property, we were offered a fraction of what others in the area were offered.

June 2010 -- We took the next step and moved into a new permanent location, but still haven’t settled with the state.

Chi Alpha Campus Ministry at Louisiana Tech raised $44,000 in four months to make our first of five payments on our facility.  We still have four more payements to raise.
