LARTC was established as a Theatre Company in 2007 and is now expanding into a film production company, bringing filming to San Bernadino and the arts and Lake Arrowhead specifically.

From 2007 to 2014. LARTC taught classes for children and adults, helped establish literacy programs, contributed to the anti-bullying programs throughout the Rim School District, as well as producing over 50 plays.

Now LARTC has expanded into Los Angeles.  We continue to serve the San Bernardino community.  Our members and students include many students from Lake Arrowhead, Crestline, Riverside and the Inland Empire in general.  We are planning productions Los Angeles and in the Lake Arrowhead area in 2019, as well as our first animated short film and our feature-length live-action film.

In 2016 LARTC developed a more active role to increase awareness of LARTC’s mission and Lake Arrowhead in general.

Our company performs plays in high-visibility venues to increase public awareness to LARTC’S mission: to build an arts community in the the San Bernardino mountains.  To help support local business, the education system and to help generally strengthen our community.

By producing plays  (and now teaching affordable acting and producing classes) in L.A. our hope was to attract the proper amount of money and interest artists who would want to come to Lake Arrowhead and make it a creative escape.

Since 2016 LARTC has produced 10 plays in Los Angeles area.  Six plays with highly successful runs in the Hollywood Fringe Festival, all of which won Producer’s Awards, and one was Buzzfeed’s pick for #2 in the whole festival.

LARTC is continuing  to produce plays, and is becoming a film development company.

We have started by producing 22 short films in the last year.  Most of those films are now being submitted to film festivals and one short film of ours, ITTY BITT COMMITTEE, has been accepted in three film festivals around the world (New York City, Los Angeles, and Moscow), again raising awareness of LARTC mission and Lake Arrowhead in general.

A substantial amount is money is required to have an adequate performance space, and to be able to teach affordable classes, offering scholarships to students who really want to learn but cannot afford it.   We are seeking financial support to help us with production and administration expenses and to offset teaching costs so we can continue on this path.
