Lake Merritt Rowing Club

Lake Merritt Rowing Club is a nonprofit organization dedicated to sharing the joy of rowing with the diverse Bay Area community. 

LMRC is a member-supported, non-profit organization open to all members of the Bay Area community. We are honored to row out of the Municipal Boathouse below the Lake Chalet restaurant on the west side of Lake Merritt. The club hosts clinics and classes for new rowers and provides coaching and competition-level equipment for experienced athletes. Our youth programs offer year-round opportunities for middle and high school-aged students to build teamwork and athleticism through rowing.
