We are a non-profit developer of affordable housing and a mission-driven landlord. We provide affordable housing for over 750 people each year.
We were founded in 1988 as the Laconia Area Community Land Trust. For over 35 years, we have developed high-quality, affordable rental housing throughout the Lakes Region. We currently own and operate 381 affordable apartments in Ashland, Gilford, Laconia, Meredith, Tilton, and Wolfeboro, with another 30 units under construction right now in Wolfeboro (see our featured campaign below to make a contribution to this project).
In addition to developing and managing our housing, we offer our Resident Services Program, which strengthens factors that improve the health and well-being of our tenants so that they can maintain stable housing and pursue their personal goals.
