Lamb Arts Ltd/LAMB Theatre & School

LAMB Theatre is a non-profit professional non-equity theatre. Together with The LAMB School, we make up LAMB Arts LTD, a 501(c)3 non-profit company dedicated to enriching the arts in Siouxland through performance and education. We have a highly qualified staff working toward that goal.

Now celebrating 41 Seasons, LAMB has provided 6500 students with  free theatre performances , 147 students have received LAMB scholarships, 85 workshops for students & teachers have been conducted, and 21 high school & college interns have earned credit at LAMB.   The LAMB Caravan has operated since 2010 and as a touring children's theatre group has performed in North and South Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Colorado, Nebraska and Iowa for underserved communities in those states. Thousands of miles and thousands of families have been entertained by this wonderful training ground for the young actors who are/were a member of the troupe.   Projects of Hope is another important aspect of LAMB being a gift of a performance that is given to a fellow nonprofit organization to use as is best for them:   as a fundraiser, a donor thank you event  or an annual meeting entertainment. 

LAMB collaborates with other nonprofits as a source for arts education:   Girls Inc, Siouxland Y, Jackson Women and Children's Shelter, Winnebago High School, Hunt A+ Fine Arts School  and many, many other organizations whose clientele often includes a predominant number of underserved and disadvantaged young people. 

 LAMB is very thankful for the support we've been shown by the Siouxland community through the last forty years. We love this community and want to create an even bigger impact in the lives of even more Siouxlanders. We now have the opportunity to do just that by moving our operations to downtown Sioux City.  Much more than a new home for LAMB, the move to 625 Douglas, Sioux City's first auditorium, will revitalize an historic landmark and add to the exciting renaissance of downtown Sioux City.  The performance spaces and facility, along with the excellence and innovation of LAMB Theatre will provide the region with performance venues and educational opportunities rivaling much larger cities.
