Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic

A nonprofit organization

$291,576 raised by 805 donors

Since 1938, the Lancaster Cleft Palate Clinic (LCPC) has served the healthcare needs of individuals with cleft lip/palate and other craniofacial differences from infancy through adulthood. LCPC also cares for the dental, audiological, and speech needs of medically and behaviorally complex children.

LCPC pioneered the team approach to cleft treatment that is the standard of care worldwide. Our team of dedicated providers includes plastic surgeons, ENTs, audiologists, speech pathologists, feeding specialists, pediatric specialists, dentists, orthodontists, and social workers. The Clinic is one of the only independent, non-profit cleft centers in the nation, serving children and families from Lancaster and 45 surrounding counties.

Cleft treatment starts at birth and can continue through early adulthood, costing close to  $400,000. Children with cleft qualify for state insurance, but unfortunately reimbursements do not cover the actual cost of treatment. LCPC relies on generous donors, along with state and federal funding to make up the difference. It is part of LCPC's mission to provide care to all patients regardless of their ability to pay.

Thank you for helping our patients along their journey!
