Landmark Community Theatre’s Board of Directors, retired Directors, and staff will match the first $9000 worth of contributions.

Dear Friends & Supporters,

Landmark Community Theatre invites you to be part of Give Local—a community-wide giving event that directly fuels the art, education, and history we share right here in Thomaston.

This is a season worth celebrating together. After years of restoration work, relocations, and the patience only a community like ours could offer, Landmark Community Theatre is home—and so are you. The lights are on, the curtain is rising, and this year we are presenting a full season before future renovation phases begin the next chapter of our building's transformation.

We want to be honest with you, as we always have: more work lies ahead for our historic Opera House. But right now, in this season, we have a remarkable opportunity to fill the Opera House with music, laughter, and the stories that bring us together—and your support through Give Local makes that possible.

Because of this community, our youth program has earned one of the highest honors in youth theatre nationwide: selected to perform at the American Association of Community Theatre (AACT) Youth Festival 2025—one of only seven programs chosen nationwide. The recognition doesn't stop there. Landmark Community Theatre has also been selected to receive AACT's prestigious Twink Lynch Organizational Achievement Award, which honors member theatres for successfully completing major steps in new directions, expanding services to their community and moving to the next level of organizational development—a recognition of our dedication to renovating the Opera House and our enduring commitment to community theatre.

Your gift this Give Local will help fund our day-to-day operations—bringing productions and concerts to the stage, supporting classes and workshops for all ages, and helping us recuperate from past disruptions while preparing for those ahead. When you give, you're not just donating; you're helping write the next chapter of the Opera House's story. Every dollar given during the Give Local window makes a direct impact.

Thank you for being part of this community, this theatre, and this story. Because of you, the show goes on.

With warmest gratitude,

The Landmark Community Theatre Family
