Le Sanctuary Book Club is a 501 C 3 organization dedicated to supporting and promoting the importance of literacy in the Greater New Orleans community. We want the world to know that "Literacy Lives in NOLA"! OUR VISION:
The vision of Le Sanctuary is that one day, every youth in the city of New Orleans and the surrounding parishes will own a book or books, spend more time reading, and read on the grade level in which they are in or above. By doing this, we feel we can conquer adult literacy, one youth at a time.

CHECK OUT THESE STATS:
Approximately, 26% of adults in greater New Orleans are functionally illiterate, lacking the reading, math, and computer skills to read media instructions, and complete school registration forms and online job applications.
