Leadership SAISD

Leadership SAISD informs, empowers, and inspires the San Antonio community to advance transformative public education opportunities for all students. Formed in 2012, LSAISD has a network of over 400 equity minded leaders working across all sectors in San Antonio. Our Education Leadership Development Program brings together community members to develop an understanding of the opportunities and challenges facing school districts and the education sector, grow their own leadership skills to create meaningful change, and have access to an equity focused community and network of resources. We just welcomed 45 community leaders into the Class of 2026, our 14th cohort! Cohort fellows engage in a variety of educational leadership and learning activities with local education leaders, community organizations, and decision makers. Alumni are better equipped to effectively advance the community discussion around educational equity in San Antonio through their roles on school boards, school district committees, non profit and for profit leadership spaces, and other city wide commissions. We also host quarterly EdChats that are community conversations on an array of education topics.

Your generous donation helps keep our programming free for community leaders taking action for educational equity. Every donation over $25 enters you into a raffle. We hope you will join us for our Big Give Social at Casa Guipzot on 9/18 from 4 - 6 pm. 

Ways to sponsor our cohort: $250 - $500 sponsors a meal during one of our sessions, $1000 sponsors a session, $2000 sponsors a cohort member, $30,000 or above sponsors our 9 month program.

If you choose to sponsor a meal ($250 - 500), a full day of learning ($1000), or our program, your logo will be included on our programming materials, newsletter, and you are invited to speak to the cohort during that day's session.

Who We Are

The only education-focused leadership development program in Bexar County, Leadership SAISD inspires civically minded individuals to become leaders within the San Antonio Education community. Leadership SAISD strives to positively disrupt the education system through their Leadership Development Program and EdChats. The Leadership Development Program is a free nine-month program that provides the resources for local community members to become thought leaders around education. EdChats are community-based events convening all education stakeholders such as caregivers, educators and children to learn about relevant topics, engage in dialogue, and develop awareness of various action steps. Leadership SAISD is guided by placing kids first, learning continuously, pursuing equity, collaborating, and strengthening community.
