Informed, engaged, and inspired leaders transforming the West Valley into highly livable quality communities. 

Our diverse membership believes that intelligent, active engagement in public affairs is the ture measure of citizenship and the foundation for our community. 

As a vonunteer-led, non-profit organization, Leadership West provides a nine-month educational program focused on developing a diverse mix of emerging leaders in the West Valley. 

A three-day retreat, monthly issue days and class projects provide Leadership West class members with broadened community perspectives and exposure to the interconnectedness of complex issues in the West Valley, the Greater Phoenix Metropolitan Region and the State. 

Annual class recruitment begins in January of each year with applications due by May 2nd. Following a competitive selection process, final class members are announced in June. applicants must live and/or work in the West Valley. 

On an annual basis, four new and innovative class projects address community values and needs in the West Valley. The projects are meant to make a sustainable difference in the quality of life of West Valley citizens.
