League of Volunteer Enthusiasts (LOVE) of KDHX

The League of Volunteer Enthusiasts (LOVE) of KDHX formed in 2023 in response to the crisis at 88.1 FM KDHX. 

We are active, dedicated volunteers and allies of community radio in St. Louis. We are the DJs and hosts you've listened to and supported for over 37 years.

We have been organizing for the last two years to achieve change of leadership and respectful accountability at KDHX. And we are raising funds to make that happen and to support a new, restructured KDHX!

We are proud to be part of a coalition of business, arts, music, civic, and wider community leaders -- all dedicated to keeping KDHX alive and local and stewarding it through this crisis and into a brighter future!

Along with you and the whole community, we are working to save KDHX and rebuild it as the great community radio station it still could be.

Why should you support LOVE of KDHX?

• There's nothing else like KDHX in St. Louis -- or anywhere for that matter. And we are dedicated to keeping that treasure alive and local!
• For over 37 years, 88.1 KDHX has been a volunteer-driven, free-form radio station, where unique music and unique perspectives are shared with the community, free of commercial and corporate influence. Right now, that station is at grave risk -- but it's not too late to save it!
• We are raising funds to defend community radio in the courts. Our legal fees are significant, but you can help make a difference!
• We have a real chance to save KDHX! The station has NOT been sold. We are still fighting in bankruptcy court. Your donation of $100 or more will keep us in that fight.
• With the support of the Coalition For KDHX, LOVE of KDHX has a vision and a business plan to restructure KDHX and make it viable now and for many years to come!
• We are an all volunteer organization! All donations to LOVE of KDHX go directly to saving KDHX.
