You may have heard that Arkansas ranks rock bottom for voter turnout, but did you know we’re also one of only 20 states that doesn’t provide any voter education?  

The League of Women Voters of Arkansas (LWVAR) is a non-partisan organization committed to fostering an informed and engaged electorate of voters, but we can’t do it without YOU!

With your help, LWVAR can continue to provide Arkansas voters, especially women, with the education and resources they need to make informed decisions at the ballot box—all through a non-partisan lens that encourages voters to make decisions that reflect their values.

Since our founding in 1920, we have been at the forefront of advocating for women’s right to vote, promoting voter education, and protecting democracy. There is probably no other volunteer organization that inspires such a great degree of commitment from its members. As a direct result of that commitment, the LWV has evolved to what it is today: a unique, nonpartisan organization that is a recognized force in molding political leaders, shaping public policy, and promoting informed citizen participation at all levels of government.
