Learning with Lana Joy Foundation

By partnering with local schools in our community, we provide clothing, school supplies, and other needs to children in our community that might not have those resources. We believe that no child should go without.

This foundation was named after our beautiful daughter Lana Joy. Our angel went to heaven at the very young age of 5 years old. As any parent can imagine, this was not only unexpected but also devastating. Lana would have started her first day of kindergarten in 2022. She was so excited to start learning. Lana loved making new friends and helping anyone at any time. Lana truly had an unconditional love for everyone she met. To honor the memory of our sweet Lana, we decided to create a foundation that helps people in need, because that is truly the spirit of Lana Joy. For the school year of 2024-2025, we assisted students entering second grade and have continued on as Lana would have progressed. Learning with Lana Joy Foundation provides school supplies, clothes, and other needs for selected families. The foundation's goal is to help provide for the families chosen for the entirety of the school year. We would like to build relationships around courage and strength and joy in our community, because that is exactly what Lana would have wanted to do. We are currently helping those in the communities of Malakoff and Tool, Texas.
