Currently in our 45th year, the Life Enrichment Center (LEC) is a non-profit organization located in the Forest Hills neighborhood of Tampa, Florida. We provide over 20 art and health/wellness classes each week to students who just happen to be over the age of 50.

We are passionate about lifelong learning and the important role that the arts play during the aging process. Our goal is to expose the arts to as many people as possible. We believe that art-related activities can contribute greatly to the physical health and emotional wellness of our community's adults and seniors.

Our programming currently includes art-related classes (drawing, pastels, oil/acrylics, creative writing, sculpture, and watercolor), health and wellness classes (tai chi and chair yoga), and cognitive strengthening classes (mah jongg and bridge).

LEC students rely on our organization for learning, social engagement/companionship, and encouragement. Our members have found a "second home and family" at the LEC during their post-retirement and golden years.
