Imagaine many children at an event recieving school supplies.  When they look into their bags, not only do they see the supplies, they see resources to get a pair of shoes, an outfit of clothing, nutrition, tutoring and other resources.  Can you imagine the look on their faces...It will be PRICELESS.

Lend A Hand Foundation has been in existence going into our 16th year of providing support to less fortunate youth. Our main focus is youth who reside in transitional housing facilities that are facing many barriers that are keeping them from getting to and staying in school.  Last year we providied 9,675 students with backpacks and school supplies.  This year because of the economy the numbers will be substantially lower but we will provide 2,000-3000 students wtih school supplies and also focus on getting those students with many barriers to school and help them to stay in school.  Many will not only need school supplies but will need shoes, clothing, nutrition, help with studies, personal items and other resources.
