Lexington Hearing & Speech Center

LHSC advocates early identification and intervention to encourage development of audition, speech and language. LHSC’s goal is for children and adults to leave LHSC with the language and independence to be active participants in their community and that no one is defined by their communication delay. Focus of LHSC programming falls within three areas: the Audiology Clinic, the Speech/Language Pathology Clinic, and the education programs of the Early Learning Center.

Since its founding in 1960, LHSC has evolved into a quality healthcare provider for persons of all ages, providing educational, hearing, and speech services in 2015 to over 1,200 individuals from 69 counties across the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
