 I am the founder of this organization(LPS.Group) 21 years after my own experience of incarceration a total of 20 years.  However, I have now been home from incarceration for 21 yrs.  Since this after math, I have worked on the floor of NYMEX/COMEX/Wall st. Trading fl. after taking the series 5 test for assisting TRADES of the day.  I have created what I know to be of a greatly needed service.  Therefore, I created a program to assist Men & Women in their after math of incarceration as well, as thoughs AT RISK YOUTH.    IF I can provide the services and guidance that myself was neglected to recieve I am sure I can have/ and have already had some success in dealing with those who are to return to there community without the necessary services needed to remain free and productive dealing with supervision.  We have provided the necessary "Therapuedic" workshops to address a miriad of issues that a former incarcerated person needs to become successful and to have a smoother transition and a free person to make healthy decisions while transitioning back into the community as well as their families.  We help to bridge this gap brought on by being away from families especially their children lives.  Workshops on conflict resilutions are discussed and acted out within the group.  We have created within this program a number of small projects1 such as "GREEN THINKING" project which is our THEME.  WE created a Registered  "FOOD PANTRY' where we provide not only healthy food but how EDUCATION of what to eat for a more healthy sustainable diet to them and their family.   We also provide Professional Cothing is provided, where once ready for an interview after going through our Employment development service(s) Job Research, Mock Interviews and clothing for  "DRESS FOR SUCCESS" Attire.   "You never get a second chance to make a first empression."   Our future vision is to provide housing for those returning back into the community where they learn how to once again become human in dealing with everday human ordeals.   We want these men & women to get a fair chance in returning to the community without the stigmatism and biases towards their attempt to become normal thinking, caring human beings who have much to give back to a community IF given the oportunity to get themselves together once again or even for the first time having a centered mission to do well.   "LIFE Progressive Services Group Inc that will advocate where if given the right opportunitie(s) in Education, Vocational trades opportunities, and Mental health Services.    We are trying to achieve that which has been far too long neglected in order to prevent the continuation of RECIDIVISM.  To continue to incarcerate young men & girls without addressing the direct issues in guidance (WE) as responsible adults will be guilty for neglect and NOT really addressing the issues at hand, i.e. like poverty, lack of empathy for those who needs a hands-up, as oppose to a hand-out.  LOVE and CONCERN is what most people desire,  to become better people in life.   To hurt people is to perpetuate them hurting others.  "HURT PEOPLE, HURT PEOPLE."  "Those who are closest to the problem are usually closest to the solution."
