Since 1979, the Hispanic Women's League, Inc. has been instrumental in improving the quality of life, assisting in personal & professional development, and advocating for the concerns of Hispanic women in the Western New York area.

With 36 years of awarding scholarships and unwavering participation of its members in numerous community services, fundraising and contributions to the Latino Community, the fortitude of its volunteers is unmeasurable. What drives the organization to continue fundraising efforts year after year? 

It is the awardees, who by any means necessary stop at nothing to pursue their goals to obtain a Higher Education degree.  Some, are first generation or English is not their first language or a single mother who works 2 jobs or more at the same time attending College.  

The League has awarded traditional and non-traditional students, even awarding High School Incentive Awards to deserving male and female students of Hispanic descent. Those stories were just as inspiring, students looking to find ways to afford the college application fee's, much less all the other fee's associated with considering college.

The cost of Higher Education is getting increasingly higher and higher, and together with your donation, we can offer more scholarships and even bring back the High School Incentive Award.
