Our Mission 

Light of Loving Kindness empowers the next generation of conscious leaders by providing access to internal streams of awareness, culminating in the self-esteem and confidence needed to pursue their life’s purpose. 

Our Values

Because we know that the path to conscious leadership begins with self-acceptance, Light of Loving Kindness provides opportunities to learn about, develop, and then practice tools of self-actualization and community leadership for young people and their support systems. 

Light of Loving Kindness includes nine core values in our youth and community programs:

• Mindfulness

• Leadership

• Project-based Learning

• Creative Arts

• Self-Awareness

• Community Service

• Social-Emotional Learning

We deliver on these core values through:

·      Self-Love Bootcamp: focuses on all nine core values. It allows space for participants to awaken to the true brilliance of who they are.  

·      Leaders Internship for Teens (LIT!): focuses on leadership, education, project-based learning, community service, social-emotional skills, self-awareness, and mindfulness. We place significant focus on preparing high school students to become leaders on their campuses, and to transition to college and/or post-high school goals.

·      Youth Ambassadors: focuses on mindfulness and leadership. Young people who have completed a primary program are then offered an opportunity to complete a “train the trainer” program to become Mindfulness Ambassadors for their families, schools, and communities.

·      Just As I Am: focuses on all of the components of the Self-Love Bootcamp with added content, created for and by LGBTQIA identifying youth. This program open to all LGBTQIA identifying youth and their allies.

·      Paz Mental: focuses on mindfulness and education in the Latinx community. It provides best mental health practices for Latinx youth and their families, through bilingual education and mindfulness tools.

Our Vision

Because we know that the path to conscious leadership begins with self-acceptance, Light of Loving Kindness provides opportunities to learn about, develop, and then practice tools of self-actualization for young people and their support systems. 

Light of Loving Kindness visualizes a future in which all young people, regardless of race, economic status, gender, sexual orientation, and/or background see themselves as unique, creative, and powerful human beings. 

We visualize a world where young people are empowered, through self-acceptance, to pursue their goals, passions, and purpose. 

We visualize communities in which healing resources, opportunities, access to growth, and social mobility are shared equally with those who need them the most, but who have access to them the least. 

We visualize a space in which self-love, self-care, self-awareness, and self-expression are highly valued as a societal assets.

We visualize a future in which young people are supported to become the dynamic conscious leaders of today and tomorrow.
