LightUp is about giving individuals with special needs the quality of life we all deserve.

Individuals with special needs frequently report experiencing a lower quality of life across a variety of areas, including social and interpersonal relationships, health, and autonomy. There are currently limited high-quality services that address the barriers people with disabilities face to achieve a higher quality of life, and the available services are often costly and poorly accessible for many.

It is LightUp’s mission to develop exceptional research-informed programs AND make these programs accessible to those who need them the most. LightUp strives to create an open, supportive, and fun environment for individuals with disabilities to actively participate within their community, develop meaningful, ongoing relationships, and ultimately improve their overall health, happiness, and life satisfaction.
