Lincoln Community Concert Band Inc

Lincoln Community Concert Band was organized in the fall of 1981 by Jack R. Snider, Director of Bands and Professor Emeritus of Music at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. It was his goal that Lincoln should have a community band. Members of the band are adult volunteers from many walks of life who enjoy playing their instruments and wish to continue making music. Your donation will help keep this civil treasure alive!

The LCCB rehearses on a “school year” schedule and presents at least four concerts each year, all of which are free and open to the public. LCCB meets at the Church of Jesus Christ, Latter Day Saints at 30th and Old Cheney for the 2016-2017 season. Rehearsals are from 7-9pm Monday evenings. The band is open to adults of all experience levels as long as sections are not full.
