Lincoln Kiwanis Foundation

The Kiwanis Club of Lincoln has been serving the local community through various service and fundraising projects since 2001. Since inception we have given in excess of $800,000 to the community through grants and projects, not to mention thousands of volunteer hours.

Through fundraisers and hands-on service projects, we provide summer reading books for our elementary schools, tutor children who need extra help, provide college scholarships, sponsor youth sports and scouts, provide clothing and toys for children in need, and sponsor a free fishing derby for kids and their families.

We provide opportunities for young leaders of Lincoln, from elementary through high school, to serve the community through service and leadership clubs, supporting their involvement in a variety of community projects and enabling them to develop their leadership skills.

We address the needs of the broader community by providing food for the hungry and supporting our troops. We support the Kiwanis Family House, which provides affordable lodging for parents of children undergoing treatment at UC Davis Children's Hospital and the Shriners Hospital for Children.
