Your Opportunity: Help unleash the potential of our 1,200 learners, ages 3 - 80, by making a Give to Lincoln Day donation.

If you are reading this, chances are someone read to you when you were very young. That's an experience most of us take for granted, but it doesn't happen in every home. The most at-risk children in our nation are those who were born in another land and find themselves, along with their bewildered, struggling parents, in our community. At Lincoln Literacy we believe it is our obligation to give the whole family the lifelong gift of literacy.

Last year, through our small, largely part-time staff and our burgeoning corps of volunteers, we served more than 1,000 women, men, and children through one-to-one tutoring and small-group classes.

With thousands of refugees in our community, and many more arriving each year, the challenge just keeps growing. Then, there are those who grew up in America but still cannot read.

Please help us help people of all cultures and strengthen our community by giving your support to our mission. Thank you!
