Lionheart Academy of the Triad

Lionheart Academy serves students in grades 4-12 with autism spectrum disorders.  Our mission is to develop diploma seeking students with autism into independent adults through research-based education strategies. In just over 8 years we’ve grown from 19 to 72 students. 

On Friday, October 20, 2023, our students will participate in the Lionheart Fun Run. 

The Lionheart Fun Run is a run/walk event to raise funds for community outings as well as fun events throughout the year for our students. Community outings allow students to use social and independent living skills in retail stores, dining in restaurants, and through team building at off-site locations like Camp Weaver.
