Lionheart Academy of the Triad

Lionheart Academy proudly serves students in grades 4-12th with autism spectrum disorders. Our mission is to develop diploma seeking students with autism into dependent adults through research-based education strategies. In just 10 years we've grown from 19 to 75 students!

The Lionheart FunD Run is our annual PTO fundraiser! The funds raised are used for various community outings and events throughout the year that positively impact each one of our students. Our community outings are a fun way for students to use social and independent living skills in retail stores, restaurants, and through team building at off-site locations. Funds also support free, family fun nights hosted at the school. Events like this give students and their families an opportunity to feel connected to our amazing Lionheart community!

Students and staff will celebrate reaching a common goal at the end of the fundraiser with a run/walk, games, awards, snacks and more. This FunD Run will take place on October 18th and is sure to be a lot of fun for our students! Awards will be given out to the class with the highest amount of donations. In addition, the student in each class who had the most donations made on their behalf will also be recognized with a medal.
