The Lisner-Louise-Dickson-Hurt Home embraces the vision of its founders by striving to be a champion for low to modest incomes seniors of Washington, DC, working to alleviate their hardships where we can and always doing so in a manner which recognizes their self-worth and promotes their dignity and independence.  As a non-profit public charity, we take our vow to care for the whole person seriously.  We are dedicated to ensuring the highest quality of life by providing permanent, sustainable housing, excellent medical care, nutritious food, and opportunities for social interaction for those senior citizens of DC who are often most underserved due to the lack of financial resources sufficient to support themselves.  For over seventy-five years the Home has served the senior population of DC and your donations will  help to secure the Home for current and future generations of low income seniors of the nation's capital who might otherwise be forgotten.
