Listening Room Inc

For 23 years, The Listening Room has been bringing nationally known, amazing musicians to downtown Hastings. This has been a great source of entertainment for our community and an inspiration for local songwriters and musicians. 

Three Years ago we embarked on an exciting project called THE LARK. We are building a performing and gathering space with superior acoustics and contemporary design, grounded by historic elements in the heart of downtown Hastings. This is a $1.2 million dollar project. We are a year and half into a three year campaign and we have raised over $1 million so far!

We have completed the first phase of the project, which includes the performance space, the bar and the catering kitchen. We opened our doors to the public in December 2013 and have been tremendously successful.

What do we have left to do?

We still need to complete the mezzanine and second floor. These spaces will add 2 more conference rooms and leaseable office space, creating a diverse income stream and assuring the sustainability for this great project.
